I am a college student, and I was wondering which pet is the best to bring. The reason I want to bring one is because I have an anxiety problem, and I would like company in my single room (so preferably something nice and friendly). I have ample time to take care of a pet and let it run around for a few hours, as I am usually in the room working. Any suggestions?
I’m a college student too but I don’t think your allowed to bring pets.The best option is a hamster easy to take care of.
I live in my parents’ home, and they do not like dogs in their home. I have always wanted to start dog showing, but am not able to get a show dog myself. What are ways to participate in conformation showing without purchasing a show dog? (How to find someone to allow me handle their dog if they don’t even know me) I can’t get into junior handling since I am over the age limit.
go to a few dog shows and talk to the owners/handlers and talk to them about getting started in handling. this would also be a good expierence to get used to the set ups of shows and also to see how others handle the dogs.
My cat Tigger has been hissing and clawing at my other cat Bonnie.They are both fixed.Why is this? It’s been going on for the last couple weeks.
There can only be one alpha cat in the house. You may be seeing a reordering of who is the alpha one. Generally, this will have hissing and growling, but no blood will be drawn.
If this continues, see which cat is at a disadvantage, and see if there is a medical problem with that cat. An ill cat can be recognized by the other cat and is an opportunity to dominate.

he is 17 and im broke. i need something thats not too personal. any suggestions?
You could get a photo of his favourite animal (or pet) and make it into a birthday card. The extra thought will be appreciated and it won;t cost very much to do. You could also make it into a keyring at most photo centres for about $5. This could be really cool, cos most 17yr old boys are all about driving or getting house keys so its not too personal, but something useful that he’ll like.
