I’ve been thinking about this question. Do they know the difference between a person who is neutral about animals verses the animal loving people? How do they know? How are they different in behavior? Please help me.
Thanks.
I’m a huge cat person :]
It is probably all in the way they are touched, picked up and petted. If you pet a cat (or dog, too) under the chin it is a sign of trust. I always pet softly. I think some who do not like cats are harsher. They just don’t have that touch that "cat people" do.
I have 3 cats. One, Baby, is a persian. She rubs all over me and sleeps on the bed. As soon as my husband comes into the room <<SWOOSH>> she is gone! He is a dog person; not a cat person. He has never been mean to her or teased her. But she just knows somehow.

I think they can just feel the ora of your body. They probably sense the environment also. Well I am a true animal lover and my cat treats me like his mother lol. He always sleeps with me, and rubs against me but never bites/scratches me. On the other hand, my dad is kind of depressed and my cat attacks him for no reason so I think they can sense.

Most animals have a sixth sense that alerts them to the bad humans. They just know.
