Hello Onision, I hope this video finds you well, as it is to my understanding that you have had a strong impression on your young viewers here on YouTube about vegetarianism. I made this video to educate you and your viewers about vegetarianism and the misconceptions that you believe.
Most professed vegetarians are in the twenty-six to thirty-five age groups with comparatively few under twenty or over forty. Young impressionable people learn a little about ecology. Thanks to Onision we have learned that animals are brought up in unnatural surroundings and fed hormones and chemical supplements to make them grow faster or leaner, and that those substances remain in the meat which we eat. We have also learned that pollutants, pesticides and other toxic substances drain into our waterways and seas are eaten by fish which again we eat.
Onision knows that the protein he got from meat and fish is necessary for his health, but he learns that many vegetables such as cereals, beans, nuts, and seeds contain protein. Besides, he can ensure adequate protein if he supplements his diet from indirect animal sources such as milk, cheese and eggs — without having to kill anything. In Onisions videos he will lead you to believe that a diet lower in meat and higher in vegetables is healthier.
Then Onision will tell you that meat production is a waste of the earth’s resources. The high quality grain which is fed to animals which are then fed to us would be used more efficiently if we did without the animals and ate the grain ourselves. Not only would that grain feed more of us, but he believes the grain could itself be used to grow even more grain to feed the starving. It soon seems clear to the impressionable kids watching his videos that in our modern world, where a third of the population is starving, meat production by any country must constitute waste of criminal proportions.
Onision has had to sacrifice the pleasure of eating meat, which he had found to be very palatable, but his conscience is clear and he is assured of a healthier life.
Unfortunately, it isn’t as simple as that. Onision knows a little, but the adage that ‘a little learning is a dangerous thing’ was never truer than in this context.
Onision will ask you how can you justify killing an innocent animal for food? This question may seem difficult to answer at first but really it is not. Would it be reasonable to ask a lion to justify his killing of an innocent gazelle? Of course not: it is natural for the lion to kill the gazelle and that is justification enough. And what of a gazelle’s right not to be eaten? If you put it this way, you can see that such questions are really meaningless. The same is true for us, for we are not a vegetarian species.
But, if the desire not to kill animals is Onisions reason for his stance, then he should know that, when land is farmed for food crops, more animals are killed.
Most vegetarians are motivated, at least in part, by their view of the immorality of exploiting animals. Most of them, of course, are city dwellers that have never had the experience of working on a farm.
Crop agriculture is devastating to small amphibians, reptiles, nesting birds and mammals. Even the occasional larger mammal is injured during the cropping process. Unavoidably, the plow destroys burrows and young. Harvest machines kill some animals directly and expose others to the tender mercies of predators.
If Onision is as passionate about these animals as he claims he is, then he must simply starve himself to death.

@RealLifeSkating There was a study done by the US army just after WWII concerning there troops in combat.They came to the conclusion that the actual killing was only done by 10%,the rest either didn’t shoot at all or they shot randomly or just above the enemy.That is why they changed there combat training totaly after that.Most humans don’t want to kill somebody else.

@RealLifeSkating What does a 14 year old kid knows about the army or killing another human being?Have you ever talked to somebody who actually know what war is,not the ones you find in games.The bravado is one thing,what they really think is something else exept for the psycopaths.There is a very big difference between what a person thinks and what he says as you will find out later in life.

@RealLifeSkating Talking with any vegan on world agriculture always proves how they lack the basic understanding how it really works.You think that planting billions of the same plant every year is natural?To be able to do that you need to use fertilisators,pesticides and machines.Billions of small animals are killed when harvesting those fields.If you are concerned with animals, why not talk about that?Or maybe you ignored this,or choose to ignore it.

@RealLifeSkating If you think animals feel guilt,well I can say the earth is flat.Both arguments are debunkt by science. Why don’t you feel guilt when you eat a plant alive or boil it to death? Why is there such a concept as “good” or “bad” killing in your mind.A concept that doesn’t exist if you talk about morality, the real one, not the fake vegan one.

@celt130 and who are you to claim that animals dont feel guilt, people show less guilt than animals when we put them through so much and most people dont even bat an eye at it, and soldiers kill other soldiers and many don’t care, they see it as instinct..

When the farmers …
When the farmers are cropping those fields for those delicious vegetables, well they are killing animals too. frogs, turtles, snakes, birds, and even some larger animals like fox, raccoons, squirrels etc…
Ok so your way still kills way less animals I get it. But your argument is for the love of all animals. You must starve Greg Onision to live up to your beliefs. It is all in my video response. You have no further argument.

Vegetarians who say the meat industry being crap is the reason for their vegetarianism? Then go to a local farm! Order grass-fed meat from a small farm instead of walmart. It’s sustainable and doesn’t have all the crap industrial meat does.

All animals show emotion in one way or another, you cant pretend you know that animals have know emotion, a pig for instance has been shown to have been as smart as a 3 year old child, are you saying 3 year olds dont show emotion, whe i get home and my dogs see me they jump up and get excited, that is emotion, that is feeling, that is real, so dont give me some bullshit saying animals dont have emotion, beacuse i can see it.

well the problem is …
well the problem is obvious, overpopulation means meat has to be unnaturally industrialized, but also perpetuates hunger where the industry of food isn’t as easily reached, but the solution to both problems, overpopulation and hunger, is just as obvious, everyone should eat someone they don’t like. Hunger. solved. Population, down by at least half. Best of all, the popel who will be going away are only people who suck. I/E Youtube staff, Republicans, and the like
