What animal-lover job can suport owning a horse?

What animal-lover job can suport owning a horse? I really want to be a vet or vet tech, but they get payed to little to own a horse. Please help!
A veterinarian will get paid enough to own a horse. But you better have amazing grades if you want to get into that competitive field. I am applying to a school to get into their veterinary technology program and yeah, I won’t be making any money.
